Those who are faint of heart need not apply. Lore has it that Anoka is full of haunted ghosts that come out to spook visitors around Halloween. The Ghost of Anoka Walking Tour provides an eerie encounter of the supernatural around haunted neighborhoods. Some people have talked about strange occurrences such as windows and doors shutting on their own and the sound of footsteps making floorboards creak during the tour. Walking tours take place in September and October, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
