The Twin Cities Gateway offers a full schedule of events year ‘round. You're in for a spooktacular time during Anoka's annual Halloween celebration. Anoka is the Halloween Capital of the World by congressional proclamation. October is loaded with fun Halloween events including races, parades, pumpkin carving contests, a medallion hunt, a house decorating contest and more!
The celebration reaches its climax at the Grand Day Parade on Saturday, October 27. With more than 150 floats and several marching bands, the parade is the largest hometown parade in the state.
