Nucky’s Speakeasy
Nucky’s Speakeasy, named after the famous Atlantic City, NJ political boss and racketeer Enoch “Nucky” Johnson, is located in the heart of downtown Anoka beneath Club 300 Jamasian Cuisine Restaurant, in the Old Post Office. This beautiful structure was built in 1916 and is on the MN Historical Registry.
The Speakeasy has its own private entry in the back where there is plenty of parking in the public lot. Look for the red door and descend the outside stairway along the building. Wear your best 1920’s flair and enter to relive a by-gone era of the prohibition days! Craft cocktails, beer, prohibition drinks, appetizers, and desserts are waiting for you. No reservations needed.
