We’re excited to share that the Fridley 49er Days Festival has been moved from June to July. The new dates for 2026 are July 16–18 — mark your calendars!

The 2026 event will kick off with the Fridley Lions Parade on Thursday, a Car Show and Movie in the Park on Friday, and on Saturday, we’ll host the Commons Park Grand Opening event and art dedication— each day will be filled with food trucks and musical performances!

Get ready for a lineup packed with exciting events and family-friendly activities. Highlights often include:

• The Grand Parade: A beloved centerpiece of the festival, featuring local organizations, bands, and community groups.
• Live Music & Entertainment: Enjoy a variety of musical performances and entertainment acts throughout the event.
• Kids’ Day in the Park: Dedicated time for younger attendees with inflatables, games, and engaging activities.
• Classic Car Show: A showcase of vintage and classic automobiles for enthusiasts of all ages.
• Food Trucks & Local Bites: Savor a diverse selection of delicious food and treats from local vendors and food trucks.
• Fun Run: A chance for community members to get active and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
• Fireworks Display: A spectacular finale lighting up the Fridley sky.
• And much more! Past events have also included bingo, vendor fairs, trivia, and mingling magicians.
