Eurydice
View WebsiteARCC Theatre presents Eurydice written by Sarah Ruhl
The play “Eurydice” reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus and Eurydice through the eyes of its heroine. On her wedding, Eurydice dies and hurtles into a wonderland of an Underworld: where she is reunited with her dead father. Meanwhile, Orpheus journeys to retrieve his bride, but will Eurydice still want to go?
Full of dark humor, lyrical beauty, and wit, Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice is a visceral, contemporary meditation on love worth grieving for.
