Allison’s Petite Pastries
I’m Allison and this is my story…
Baking has always been a passion of mine since grade school. After graduating from High school, weeks later I started my program at Le Cordon Bleu to earn my degree in patisserie and Baking. To graduate from Le Cordon Bleu’s program I need to do an internship, so I was able to be the only one from my class to go to Walt Disney World and complete my internship to graduate. After graduating I worked at a bakery for 5 years learning new things and honing my craft.
When covid hit I had been laid off for sometime and took that time of uncertainty to start creating my brand. I dusted off my baking books and tried different recipes of what I wanted in my future display case. Which helped me come up with the Petite Pastries part. I am below average in size so for me I wanted to make small pretty pastries and I could eat multiple of them without getting into a food coma.
After I was able to return back to work I finally felt like I could do it on my own. I finally started believing in myself and my craft. Days after my 24th birthday I had quit my full time job at a bakery to start “Allison”s Petite Pastries”. Two years of working out of my home I took a leap of faith and found my Brick and Mortar location which was less than a mile from my house. On August 20th 2022 I officially opened my bakery in Ramsey MN. Where I had lived since I was 4 years old, dreaming of this day.
I am so grateful for this INCREDIBLE community of support. I am beyond excited for the years to come.
