Star Wars Day with Southside Aces

May the 4th be with you! This is the second time Crooners will bring Southside Aces in for a proper celebration of Star Wars Day. “Cantina Band,” of course, but you’ll be astounded hearing “The Imperial March” through the hot jazz filter. All that and much more. Southside Aces additional Star Wars cred includes a Star Wars-themed 40th birthday party as well as trombonist Eric Johnson having been playing “The Imperial March” since he was eleven. To paraphrase Darth Vader, “Don’t underestimate The Force…of New Orleans Jazz.”
