Jenny Klukken: Jazz Marimbist

Jenny Klukken is a Minneapolis-based marimbist, composer, and educator. Jenny’s background is in classical percussion and piano, but since her formal training she has found her voice as a unique artist on the modern marimba. As a front-woman, Jenny performs her original compositions and arrangements, with her signature touch for blending musical genres, embracing rhythmic complexity, and showcasing lyrical solos from the marimba.
