Peter Kogan’s Monsterful Wonderband

The name “Peter Kogan’s Monsterful Wonderband” comes from the title track of his 2nd CD “Some Monsterful Wonderthing” which is a sardonic sendoff or the Richard Rogers tune “Something Wonderful”. The septet’s 3 horns, guitar and rhythm provide a many colored palette, which reflects Peter’s long term experience as The Minnesota’s Orchestra’s timpanist. This show features Peter”s compositions along with select Duke Ellington classics, providing plenty of space for extraordinary solos from this extraordinary band!
