Anoka County Polar Plunge

February 28, 2026 Lakeside Commons Park

The Polar Plunges are annual events organized by Special Olympics Minnesota; an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities. Plunge participation helps make a significant difference in supporting these athletes.

Those who fundraise for their Polar Plunge get the chance to jump into a lake. If you fundraise, you are not required to jump. The event is open to the public to cheer on and support plungers! Volunteers are welcome!

Plunging begins at 12:00pm (subject to change due to weather – keep an eye on the website). Pre-registration/check-in on February 27th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Lakeside Commons. Day of registration/check-in begins at 11:00am at plunge site.
