Coon Rapids 4th of July
Don’t miss this fun family tradition! The Coon Rapids Fourth of July Community Celebration will be held July 2-4 at Boulevard Park. The Parade kicks of the celebration July 2. Run the Firecracker 5K/10K/Kids Sparkler Dash on Wednesday July 4th. You also won’t want to miss the parade, carnival games, rides, live music, bingo, pull tabs, car show, food and drinks and some of the best fireworks in the Twin Cities!
This event is sponsored by the Coon Rapids Firefighters, North Star Lions Club, and the Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation.
The parade will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday July 2rd. The parade will start at 111th Avenue and Mississippi Boulevard. Participants will travel south, then turn east on Direct River Drive, then north on Flora street, where the parade will then end at Flora Street and 109th Lane. Parade entrants will be able to either depart directly from 109th Lane or return to the line-up area at 111th Avenue to tear down and then depart.
Fireworks begin at 10PM. Expect an even bigger and better show this year, with many aerial fireworks July 4! The fireworks launch site itself is located across the street from Anoka-Ramsey Community College.View Website
