Ice Castles

Signature Event

December 30, 2022 - March 6, 2023Various dates Long Lake Regional Park

Don’t miss Ice Castles, an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon coming to Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton in January. The frozen attraction is located in six cities across North America including New Brighton. The other locations are in Utah, New Hampshire, Alberta, Colorado and Wisconsin. The Ice Palace experience is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists.

The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.

Opening and closing dates are weather dependent, but are projected to be opening the first weekend of January and closing on the first weekend of March.

Make sure you purchase your presale ticket voucher online because onsite tickets may be sold out when you arrive. Ticket prices start at $9.99 for children on weekdays.

Future dates are weather dependent.
