A devoted acolyte of the celebrated guitarist Stéphane Wrembel, Ryan’s music is rooted in the spirit of Django Reinhardt, yet it ventures to other musical landscapes. The quartets sound reflects a tapestry of Ryan’s various influences — from Rumba Flamenca, Choro, and Cuban music to Indian Classical, Post-Minimalist, and Classical traditions — each woven seamlessly into the fabric of the quartet’s musical identity.
