Lino Lakes
Lino Lakes is never short of aquatic adventure and sport, with over 15 lakes in the city alone. Several are perfect for fishing, including George Watch Lake which features a boat launch. The lake is also near Wargo Nature Center—offering canoe and kayak rentals for anglers.
New Brighton
With a boat launch and fishing pier, Long Lake is a popular location for shore fishing and features Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, and more. The lake also boasts several pavilions and picnic tables perfect for a lunch break before getting back to the water.
Anoka
Anglers can access the Rum River at the Anoka County Fairgrounds, which includes a boat launch ideal for small and medium boats. Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye are just a few of the options anglers will discover at the river, in addition to views of Rum River South County Park.
Coon Rapids
