Two Stooges Sports Bar & Grill

Ty Wilson and Greg Asproth opened Two Stooges Sports Bar & Grill in April of 1988 under the name University Billiards with 17 pool tables and a snack bar. After several great years and some major renovations a full service American style restaurant was added. In 1998 the name and concept of Billiard Street Café was born.

Billiard Street Cafe was awarded Top Ten Billiard Room in North America, Business of the Year and also Best of Awards for its Architectural Design in the Billiard Digest. Above all else, our best award is when you, our guest, walk in and simply say, “Wow!”

In 2006, a World Class Sports Bar was added. This ambitious expansion and remodel brought more changes and the name became Two Stooges Sports Bar & Grill.

Today Two Stooges is considered a top billiard room in the US and “the” place to play pool in Minneapolis featuring 43 world class Gabriels and Diamond pool tables. Our restaurant prides itself on unique, flavorful food with a crazy twist unlike any sports bar you’ve seen. Our large elevated cherry wood bar looks out over a sea of pool tables and mixes up some cool cocktails and hot entertainment.

Much has changed after 29 years in Fridley, but we have not forgotten our roots. Our goal was to create a warm and comfortable room, with top quality equipment and service, at a great price.
